Show Notes

This episode features a conversation with my guest, Rob Sturrock, from Sydney,  Australia.

Rob is a dad, writer, speaker & advocate for fatherhood, childbearing, gender equality, and healthy masculinity. He's also the author of the book "Man Raises Boy".

In this conversation we talk about Rob's own fatherhood journey and how that led him toward his advocacy work on behalf of other fathers. We also discuss the impact for and negative portrayals of fatherhood in children's media has on a child's perception of what a father's role is or should be, as well as Rob's perspective on the way the fatherhood landscape is shifting and has shifted during the pandemic and forward.

Below are two articles written by Rob that we mention in passing in this episode:

1. Can a global pandemic trigger a revolution on fatherhood?
2. Our storytelling around fatherhood must change

As always, thank you for spending part of your Wednesday with us!
